Albuquerque Aquarium - Albuquerque, NM
The Albuquerque Aquarium exhibits Gulf of Mexico saltwater species from a variety of habitats, including estuarine, surf zone, shallow waters, coral reefs, open ocean and deep ocean. A 285,000-gallon ocean tank contains brown, sandtiger, blacktip and nurse sharks swimming alongside brilliantly colored reef fish, eels, sea turtles and open ocean species.

Belle Isle Aquarium of the Detroit Zoological Institute - Royal Oak, MI
The Belle Isle Aquarium is located on Belle Isle just two miles east of downtown Detroit. Entrance to the island is on E. Jefferson at E. Grand Blvd. The Aquarium is at the intersection of Inselruhe Avenue and Loiter Way.
Birch Aquarium at Scripps - La Jolla, CA
Since 1903, Scripps Institution of Oceanography has maintained an aquarium and museum dedicated to public education and enjoyment. The opening of the new Birch Aquarium at Scripps on September 16, 1992, continued the tradition at a new location situated on a hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Scripps Pier. Four times larger than its predecessor, the new complex contains more than 60 tanks, a demonstration tide pool, and an interactive museum.
Cabrillo Marine Aquarium - San Pedro, CA

Located just steps from the ocean at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is a non-profit public aquarium/museum dedicated to promoting knowledge and awareness of the marine life of Southern California through recreational, educational, and research programs.
Dallas World Aquarium - Dallas, TX
The aquarium features more than 85,000 gallons (321,800 l) of saltwater with marine life from around the world. Walk through the 22,000-gallon (83,280 l) tunnel to experience a panoramic view of reef life. Many animals found at the top of the food chain can be seen in the Predators exhibit. Ten 2,000-gallon (7,571 l) displays present marine life from around the world - Palau, Southern Australia, Lord Howe Island, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Bahamas, British Columbia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Japan. Representing the waters of four continents, three oceans and various seas, the aquarium gives a glimpse of the underwater world.
